Where is a good place to advertise these and get a decent price? I think the SimCow.com would go high because it is the name of Simon Cowell's (of American Idol) production company..... Any ideas????

The actual name of his production company is SimCow, ltd., so it is not the "actual" exact name. I had a boss once that was big into cattle farming, and he had this on his license plate, that is where the idea had come from in the first place, then after i registered it, i researched it, and was surprised (happily) to find out that was the Production Company's name. Hmm....I hope that is not the case, that is the last thing I need.

Thats like saying "the actual name of googles company is Google, plc." you are still DIRECTLY infringing upon this persons trademark and that has got to be one of the stupid arguments ive ever heard.

I'm surprised someone like Simon Cowell doesn't have the domain to his own company. And Flaresolutions is right, you're in trouble. The only possible argument you can have if they take you to court is pleading ignorance that you didn't know of Sim Cow LTD when you registered it, and didn't register in order to profit from his domain. I think this should be moved to the Legal section...?

Wow, you guys are vicious! That is the truth, it was ignorance, but still, it does seem like he would already have it registered....but them again he's from the UK so i am sure it is there, maybe he didn't plan on using the .com extension. Who knows...now you all have me wishing i wouldn't have picked that name of all names! Thanks alot..... :notme:

It is also the brand name of some cattle management software....now what???????? :gn:
