I think you should look at it like just another get-rich-quick ebook.

In my experience, there is a learning curve in domaining and newbies are always looking for shortcuts.
It takes time and experience to get 'it' and understand what kinds of domains are actually sought after by end users and will sell. That's the very first skill one has to acquire: the ability to pick the right domains, otherwise you will likely end up with a pile of crap domains that nobody wants, and flipping will remain an illusion. It's the typical newcomer experience, few get it right from the very start.

I agree with the above, save your money for one decent domain, but in the meantime read as much as you can, look at reported sales and don't be in a hurry. Do not expect that somebody will hold you by the hand, this business is tough :imho:

I'm still fairly new to this game and I would rather trial and error by hand regging domains than buy that ebook.

Trust me, this forum is a gold mine of information and I am sure if you can become successful in domaining by purchasing that book for so cheap, then they would be raving about it here!

for a newbie, there are more and more traps being laid on the path to domaining.

and their only purpose is to capitalize on one's ignorance of the business and the hopes and aspirations of the "wide-eyed".
