New Phone Scam Alert!

Hi this is to inform you guys that during the last week there has been numerous scams via telephone.

They will pretend to be your registrar but with a Donuts extension LLC sounding name.
The Caller ID will show "Half Moon Ba Ca" with a number 1-650-889-4691.

If you are a new user or unaware of this scam Do Not Answer it.
They will make you verify domain registration info they have on whois searches in an attempt to get you to verify billing information.

Interesting. Although you would think most people would realize it's a scam when they start asking for your credit card number. At any rate, just another good reason to use privacy...or at least a virtual number that goes straight to voicemail.
