** New OVT tool for domains **

I just launched a tool where you can check domains that have Overture results with extension. I have a list of over 400,000 .COM domains that have overture results. I just wanted to put it online for helping out the fellow domainers.

As stated earlier and on the home page itself, it only provides results for .COMs for now. I will include .NET and .ORG in a month or so. All the results provided are current i.e. September 2005.

I tried to put a name in but it is doing nothing. Must i put the whole url or only the name. Its a great tool when it is working I am sure.

Its based on AJAX framework (same principle behind Google Suggest http://www.google.com/webhp?complete=1&hl=en).

If you paste something in the box and nothing shows up in 1 second, that means its not in my database. The reason could be either I haven't checked it yet or that domain has no overture results.

The best way to use the tool is start typing in the domain name and you will see suggestions at the bottom.

Awesome tool, I love how it works like google suggest. Now if it could query the name for availability too, that would be golden!

Just updated the database and added over 45,000 .COMs. Check it out!!!

Now the database has over 500,000 .COM domains. To be precise, the real count is 503,487 .COMs.
