It's appraising all of my domains at $995. Just figured I'd mention.

Ah yeah we had to temporarily disable the auto appraisal system since apparently ended up being a kink. It should be back up soon, in the meantime the appraisal will fall back to $995.

Thanks I will post more on Namepros soon I just have to catch a breath. :)

Thanks for the feedback. I'll look into the mobile issue and try to get that resolved asap if that's the case. Very strange.

As far as template, our primary upstream provider rolled out big changes that require parking companies to update to their new advertisements technology by September. And that format was not compatible with the designs of our old templates. So our only two choices was either a massive overhaul or something new.

I decided something new was better because I felt the old templates were a bit outdated, and the technology would never "feel" right with those templates. Our upstream provider has lately made a case that all templates should be simple (no theme based such as "fashion"/"clothing" because they are using behavioural/interest based ads more and more). And those types of ads on a template that has nothing to do with the ads just makes no sense, and also hurts revenue.

My idea for the update was "how can I take something somewhat simple and simplify it even more". Simplicity was the goal so I hope we achieved it. On top of that goal the second goal was how can we help users make money painlessly while parking. And that was to integrate the fixed price marketplace. :)

As far as delete option, it is still there, but this time on top!

I'm in a good mood right now, so I would be willing to sell Bodis all of my domains at their current appraised price.

XD

But yeah, looking forward to this. Shame about the offer links being taken away, though. I understand that business aspect of that. I've only ever gotten blank messages or absurdities from people, however, so I won't be THAT sad to see it go. Heh.

We'd be willing to buy your names but we'll have to raise the minimum payout to something that won't fit in this window. :D

Templates.

So, now we have 1 template for all domains? Are you going to make new ones instead of those which are "outdated"? I liked old templates))

How can I bulk set the fixed price for my domains in bodis?
Bodis is great

Thank you Matt for Detail response.

Strange but Yes mobile login issue is there. After authenticating it shows loading circle animation and does not change any thing after that.

Yes able to see Delete option now.

current template looks simple and good should be perfect for behavioral/interest based ads

Matt: this unfortunate change has the following side effect.
IF an _adult_ domain (correctly marked as such by G) was previously configured to use 2-click landers, THEN it now shows a lot of unrelated system-generated kw suggestions like Arizona Real Estate or Vacation Rentals - all 3 right columns. Just one (left) column seems to show related adult kws provided by G.

Please fix this ASAP.

Also. Since adult-marked domains WOULD always return adult ads regardless of behavioural optimisation - why not to return normal adult templates for adult-marked domains?

P.S. This [unrelated keywords] may or may not be the case for non-adult domains as well. Likely, it is. Cannot check this as I do not have 2-click non-adult domains configured.

Thanks! :)

On the Manage Domains page, you can set bulk price by selecting the checkboxes on left side and then setting the price using the top header.

Mobile login issue should be fixed. Was affecting mobile browsers that had flash disabled. If not, then please refresh your cache.

We thought we had the cache issue resolved this version, but apparently still an issue for some.

Tony,

I can't seem to figure out exactly what you mean. Can you pass me a domain with this example so I can try to look into it please.

As far as the templates, the upstream provider has changed their technology for ads now requiring us to serve ads/keywords in little iframes that call their servers. This is something that they changed industry wide and have given us a September deadline to make the changes.

So it was just not working well with templates that had horizontal keywords, especially with backgrounds/borders between keywords. It just became very difficult, especially across dozens of templates.

We did actually design 100+ very specific templates for this launch but it did not meet the guidelines of our upstream provider so we couldn't launch it. We had adult in there as well. I'd love to show you if you'd like to see them.

See the attached, 2 of many dozens. I'm not going to post them all because it would be a lot of time for nothing. But a lot of time was spent on these.

Anyway, simplicity was our goal so I am happy it ended up the way it ended up.

Thank you for images! You ended up the way it started: as I remember the templates of 2011 were as simple as now, and they showed good results! I hope we will have the same.

Yeah! They were nice templates, Matt. Did they ever go into production?

BTW. I hate the simple new template. Is that the one that goes to http://domains.googlesyndication.com/apps/domainpark/domainpark.cgi? Because that's the only one I'm seeing on the domains I tested.

Been considering parking unused domains for some time, never really been inspired by the platforms on offer. Bodis has been mentioned on a number of forums but I never felt compelled because it just looked like a trillion other pages full of adverts.

I will certainly check out the new Bodis not least because of the tie up with Namepros.
