New lease of life for leasing

i just saw rick schwartz's interview on domainsherpa(dot)com. he is now brokering
'category defining' domains for lease. this sounds ideal and was my preferred way of domain monetizing. only problem - i have no 'category defining names. have you? and would you consider leasing instead of making a big sale?

leasing is a big sale, cuz most times you get more over the interval, than a single transaction

The only problem could be the usage and possible negative consequences for the domain because of misuse. I think there should be some clauses to protect you (seller) and allow you to cancel immediately in case the domain is been abused for bad business practices, scam, etc.

yeah, the contracts are thoroughly put together by rick and his lawyers.

I would suggest rick's situation is the exception, for most domainers it will never happen

I just sold dot/com/leasing . com to someone who plans to start a domain leasing biz. I wish him luck, but from what I see, success depends on the quantity and variety of very good domains the biz has available at any given time.
