I just read and saw the new Estibot Beta version.

Just look for the banner on the Estibot site. You can also go directly to beta.estibot.com.

Do you like the new look or the old look? I'm still deciding.

I saw the original article on DomainGang.

Enjoy!

In short, estibot seems less inaccurate than the godaddy estimator which seems to price ~$$$ domains as $$$$. This will cause overconfidence in newbies who will handreg junk and pay more at auctions and BIN...ie propaganda. 🤡

I am Estibot beta tester for the entire site upgrade, just not the appraisal tool. They have a new tool that changes the way I look and value my portfolio.

Simple idea but pulls everything together. The tool is a game changer for me.

I won't say anymore but if you are a subscriber, you will be happy. I image new upgrade is a few months out.

I will give it a look see. Just today I learned godaddy has a domain price estimator. It is great fun. I think domainer could use it for a drinking game... 😎

Estibot.com: It is free but you can appraise only ONE domain per day.

I like the new design better, but that doesn't mean that I like the appraisals! :xf.wink:

There should be an option for neither. :xf.grin:

I've never been a fan of automated appraisals, but the design on the newer site is much cleaner.

Fully Agree.... the amount of times that buyers who have no Idea of domain values quote free / not free appraisal tools saying it showed a certain amount which is considerably less that the asking mainly because it's based on non-sense...

The value amount shown actually hurts the industry more than help for most type of domains except for some ultra-premiums or very liquid domains..

Estibot is, as it's always been, useless. The only people that use it are 'sellers' and it actually does more harm than good by making people think awful domains have value. It is not taken seriously by buyers. It takes 2 seconds to think up any domain in any extension that is available and would get a 4 figure 'appraisal' on estibot.

Just now I tested Estibot Beta version. I managed to appraise 5 domain names. After that it says the following: You have reached the daily guest limit. Please login or register to continue using this tool.

This is so much better - the info is much clearer.

Hey now we can appraise 5 instead of 1 before registering. Thats a great help! GoodGuy Estibot

Estibot has a power tool to search bulk end user list, but it very very expensive. Maybe if you have a large portfolio of brandables and some employees working for you could worth, but still has a limit of inquiries.
Anyone tryed the estibot tool bulk end user search?

I like the clean, modern look of the layout. I also like that at least in beta you can now do more than 1 per day free (I did a few not sure exactly how many until limit was reached - about 5 I think?). From the few I rechecked it still seems to be using the same engine though, so only the front has changed. My test of whether it is up to date re new technology is CRISPR and it still fails, thinking it is crisp and r and therefore worthless.

Clearly it is in response to the GoValue beta, and competition will be good to make them both better! I do like Estibot and GoValue almost infinitely more than any others (including Sedo). If you use both Estibot and GoValue for a domain name you have data both on comparable sales and on search statistics and CPC if that is important.
