I'm new to this domain stuff. I need to know what it entails.

You can register domains at domain registrars. Domains can point to websites or you can list them for sale. That's pretty much it. Making money is not easy with domains. You should learn as much as you can before spending a penny. In fact, you might as well purchase DN academy course or watch Domain Sherpa videos on Youtube.

You will get more for your money that way then actually trying to register a domain without knowing what is valuable. Best of luck and welcome to the forum.
