With respect to all *.uk it is impossible for any registrar to prevent any registrant logging into Nominet Online Services (the registry) and effecting a single or bulk registrar tag change (the £10.00 + VAT fee to do this is per domain name or per Nominet account) anytime they wish.

I've no experience with eUKhost, but LCN.com has .co.uk / .uk domains for only £1 something until May 29th.
No experience with it until very recently, so don't know the ins and outs of this company, but all good so far.
