And renewal price?
Will the difference in price now be carried over to renewal period?
Like 1&1 - after luring you in with $6, they now want $39 for renewal. I dropped all the domains.
Time and money wasted.

This promotion only applies to the first-year registration of new domains. The everyday registration and renewal price for .CO is $22.69. The idea with these types of promotions is to enable you as the customer to purchase and experience the TLD at a lower initial cost. The hope is that you will be satisfied with that domain and renew it at regular price.

Because you could be checking a registry premium domain.

Looks like this was the case. And I was happy I had seen a nice name. All the names I tried were premium.
