Hi everyone I am new in this field and I've recently bought few domains just to test waters :) I hope to learn a lot here and "dive in" with confidence. Any help will be appreciated.
Thanks in advance!

Hello BML,

Welcome to NamePros.

I've read your posts and it appears you are serious about domaining.
I also see by the names you have already bought you have done some research.
We like that, although I believe the best advice we could give you at this junction is.... hide that credit card.

The names you posted are not a bad start for a newcomer, but before you buy more, spend some (major) time reading up in the forum.

Read, read, read, ask questions, read, read, read, ask more (better) questions and when you think you have a grasp, read some more and ask more questions.
The members here are always glad to help those that would help themselves.

Perhaps you could start here:
https://www.namepros.com/forums/domain-beginners.25/

Read the questions and answers from the other members and start to learn the what and why of this business.

See if you can sell some of the names you already have before you buy any more. :)

Buying is easy... selling, not so much.
Take a good look at your names and ask who is the end user, how could it be monetized, and why would someone want to start a website / business on this name.

Post your domains in the Appraisal section, and see what the general perception is.

Don't take anything to heart, remember they are opinions.

Good luck.

Peace,
Cyberian

Welcome!

My advice would be to stick with .com until you are really confident. Turn your auto renew off and cull your domains each year - get rid of the ones you've had no interest in or now realise aren't that good. Also look at expired domains .net website - there is gold in that list.

Hello BML .. and welcome to NamePros.

I have to echo what @Cyberian said .. those are not horrible names by any means for a newcomer .. however they aren't the best either. Be careful of the non-.com's .. some can be good .. but they are very hard to sell these days unless they are huge keyterms or single words (even then they can be tough and are only worth a fraction of the .com).

Also be careful of plural versions of words like in TotalAbsWorkout and DrugsList .. without the "S" those are much more valuable than the versions you have here.

But don't feel too bad .. as mentioned, I've seen much much worse domains registered by (most) newcomers. I've had domains I've regretted myself! lol

Anyhow .. best of luck moving forward with your domains! :)

Thanks for welcome. Yes I was so p**** off when I realized that Boris.com is taken :P
What name did I register ? You must be kidding, after disappointment (with Boris.com :O) I have gone in rampage and bought a bunch of domains in last three days. I would be thankful for any input. And please don't laugh to much, I am just a beginner.

I would like to add my welcome as well (I have not been here much longer than you, also newish to domain investing). NP is amazingly active and knowledgeable and willing to share. It also seems a good place to find some deals on domains from time to time. Glad we both discovered it!

An interesting set of domains you have recently registered. Three that stand out in particular for me are
oilstock.org
riddlehq.com
mysteryhq.com
Was surprised they were still available. If you can find the right purchaser these should be sold, as well as many of the others. The idea of adding hq to a name, when it makes sense, is appealing, at least to my way of thinking.

Good luck with these and others.

Bob
