Thats not true.

In Latin America they refer too European/US/Asian Countries and Cities in Spanish Always.

No, but anybody in Spain or South/Central America refers to New York as Neuvo York.

Any Map of the world in Spanish would show New York as Neuvo York and the USA as Estados Unidos.

And thats a lot of people.
