Just browsing through namebio and saw cheque.net sold for a little over $3k.

This seems like a very low price for such a good single word. Or maybe I am thinking of ten years back when people used cheques more :P

Personally I think .net is still a nice extension for computer/Internet-centric projects.
That being said, the domain could be used for e-check (US spelling) clearing services or something like that.

Not sure if expired, just shows up on Namebio, sold today buy someone.

I forgot about the spelling here and over there is different, that might partially be why the price was low too.

It was sold in an auction 24 hours ago. I myself bid till $500; but someone with a bigger pocket snagged it at around $3360
