.net.au / .org.au YES OR NO?

Should I spend time and money investing in .net.au & .org.au? I am an aussie so there are no problems with restrictions. Are these domain extenstions gaining in value?

They're not currently gaining in value at all - but my gut feeling is that they will at some point in the future. Look five years out, not just to next year.

I believe that .com.au is valuable in Oz but I never see any .net.au being advertised. For .org.au I don't know. IMO you are in better position than I to find out if any of the two are popular, as I'm not from Oz
But I would suspect that .net.au is not so strong and .org.au a narrow market, if any comparison to .net.uk & .org.uk makes sense.

has the auda changed their policy?? they dont allow registration of domains purely for resale?? they will revoke the name unless it is genuinely for development. they also look at what .AU's listed on sedo and revoke those as they are clearly in breach of auda resale policy??

are you now allowed to buy domains for monetisation?? this was banned previously?

Don't know about the rules really but I was not looking to resell anytime soon and the names would definately be developed immediately. Any other restrictions that come to mind? Is it ok to sell them with a developed site?

There are restrictions on buying for resale and also buying for parking. If you can find a way to be profitable with them, good luck but personally I would keep away from the .com.au, .net.au, .org.au because the resale restrictions minimise their potential.
