Negotiation advice for a brandable?

I got an offer on what I consider one of my brandable names (with a good keyword as part of it). Since it's brandable rather than a straight keyword type of domain, would you then assume there to be more room to go higher with the counteroffer? In other words, maybe a new business needs that name for its branding and would pay quite a bit more than their initial offer for it?

Anyone have experiences with this sort of situation to share?

(I should add that traffic for this domain has otherwise been pretty minimal, so I don't think they're interested in it for PPC.)

It's hard to tell without knowing the domain or the price offered. If you feel you can get a little more out of them, it's always worth counter-offering it. If they come back and say we can't afford that much, take the original amount, if you feel it's good enough.

hard to say without knowing the exact domain and the exact offer that is on the table, usually you can counter on all of them as most buyers don't throw out what they wish to spend on the first offer, the question is how much higher to counter? This depends on the offer and the domain and any research you can do to find out who the buyer may be and that thing called your gut. good luck with a sale. :)
