I have been given this link to show me how to change the size limit on a php file,
I was able to find a reference to php configuration which had the files i need to change on display but there was no option to make any changes, i am unsure if this is the case with every cpanel? But i do need to make the changes displayed in the link below so i can upload some of my wordpress sites to my new hosting. I did upload a site yesterday via wordpress/tools/upload (the last option) The thing is it has a 2mb limit and some of my sites are over that limit and that is why i need to make the change. However finding my way to the files is something i have not done before ? …… any help appreciated

If running Apache, you can change that using directives via php.ini/.htaccess file, if the host server configuration allows override capabilities. You must create those files if they don't already exist, usually in your public root directory. You can use file manager to do this. Hosts might vary on how they instruct users to do this. For instance some may require a user.ini file instead of php,ini and require it in every affected directory instead of just the root. They may also require specific syntax in these files, in order to work properly. Any worthwhile host should have instructions on how to do this on their servers.
