Nope - Sedo now allows buyers to request an invoice directly from the seller. I had to do the same thing the last 2 domains I sold there.
Doesn't need to be anything crazy - If you don't have invoicing software just set up a document that includes:
The seller's (your) information - Name and Address
The buyer's information - name and address
What domain they're purchasing and the total purchase price (i.e. don't deduct SEDO's fees).
If there are several domains, list them all and have a total at the bottom.
You can probably find free invoice templates available online, if you search for them.
Congrats on the sale!
That is very similar to the one I use. In my last 10 sales at Sedo, 5 of the buyers have requested an invoice. Now I can expect an extra day or two for the sales proceeds to be disbursed as this slows down the transaction. Thanks very much for your fast reply! Please take a look on a sample I've just found (attached pdf).

Because one of the buyers was very picky about his invoice being marked/stamped as "Paid In Full" - I now make sure to itemize the payment at the bottom as well as overlay a big red "Paid" image somewhere on the top of the invoice.
Sure. In the Zip file I have included the Excel spreadsheet, the "Paid" stamp as a separate jpeg image, and a PDF file to show you the final invoice that is uploaded to Sedo.Hey, could you please show me the one you use, I mean with the big red "Paid" image! :bingo: Thanks
Hi everybody!
I've recently sold my first domain on sedo and the buyer request an invoice. I will really appreciate that someone provides me an invoice sample to use. Help please!
Thanks

All you have to do is edit the customer invoice in Excel, place the image where you want, and then convert it to a PDF document. I just use the free program PDFCreator to print my spreadsheet as a PDF document.
Hope this helps.
This thread is truly helpful!I also sold my first domain on sedo last week, but the buyer requested an invoice (which i know nothing about). I already made an inquiry on one of their staffs but I haven't received any reply until now. I'm really glad of NP.
Anyway, would like to ask about sedo's commission. My domain's sale price is $150, sedo's commission is $50, net amount to be credited is $100. I thought sedo's commission fee is just 10%? I'm lost..please enlighten me. Thank you.
