I own a .com domain which means 'time clock' in french.

Now i want to contact endushers for the domain, all other site using my domain keyword in der names are all written in french.

My question is, should i contact them in english language or in french?

Or should i send both english and french?

Since they are french sites written in French, if you know the language, makes sense to contact them in french first! You'll get better reception

If french isn't your first language then I wouldn't recommend writing the email in french unless you get help from a native french speaker or someone who is a fluent speaker.

In my whole opinion, when a potential enduser read a weak language in an email, they would assume it's some kind of scam and they wouldn't bother responding.

First figure out what you want to say. Keep it short to maybe only a few sentences then go to link below, join the forum and ask some of the members to help you. Tell them what you want to say and they will translate it for you exactly and copy and paste. Done deal.

Add in the email that English is your primary language and if they are interested if you can please continue your conversation in English from here on out. Most will and they will be happy to since you first contacted them in their native language.
