Need some development ideas for ARG.com

I am planning on developing ARG.com, and I would like your feedback.

Here are my ideas so far.

A site about pirates
A site about Argentina
A site where people can vent their frustrations
A site about alternate reality gaming


Anyone have any good suggestions?

I'd probably park it.

I tend to think that it is best when you come up with an idea for a website and then find a domain that compliments the idea, not the other way round.

It is currently parked. But I would like to increase it's value and drive more traffic to the site. Therefore developing it is necessary.

Arnie, I really like your suggestion about making it a site about Argentina.

I also like ssamriga's suggestion about making it a ranting site. BTW, the correct spelling is technically "argh" right? I'm not sure how many people use the "arg" spelling but it's something to look into for sure.

Any more ideas guys?

I think developing it will decrease the value and probably income unless you increase traffic dramatically. If someone wants to buy it as acronym, how is having the site about Argentina or traffic about Argentina going to increase the value?

I don't see how developing the domain and increasing traffic to it would decrease the value. The end user is looking for the acronym, so traffic doesn't matter to them. However there's even a chance I could go as far as selling it for a higher price since it's already receiving a certain amount of traffic. And to a domain reseller traffic will just make it more valuable.

Seems like a win-win to me. Am I missing something?

Argentina here as well. Especially because ARG is the abbreviation of Argentina. Can make a travel site or something similar. Endless possibilities in that direction.

Alright guys, I've narrowed it down to:

Alternate Reality Gaming (ARG)
Argentina (ARG)


I am guessing I am getting more type-ins for Alternate Reality Gaming than for Argentina, and due to the fact that Alternate Reality Gaming is still in the early stages, developing a community for it now, with this high profile name, may be my best bet.

I would go for alteranate reality gaming as well, though Argentina would have been my second bet.

Also, to someone above: I always spell "arg", never "argh".
