Here is the link: http://www.cellphoneforum.biz/index.php

Need some constructive designs about what to add and what to erase .

A new favicon is on the way so no favicon replys lol :)

Hi,
IMHO.. first of all, I liked your logo. Goes perfect with the site name & .us. Second, as in categories, I believe that should be in the left nav bar and break it down with Top 5, Top 10. You have top 5 on left and then top 10 on top? Any reason why?

Those are the two main things I noticed.

best of luck.

Thanks for the review rufryder . The thing with the top 5 block is that this is a mod and this is how it looks , i don`t know why its top5 in the left and top 10 in the right , and above it tells top 5 , i will search for an answer too .

Thanks again,
Iulian

VERY nicely done!
The categories with the adjacent logos are a different but very welcome twist. Change the default vB favicon to your own, get some content in the categories and that's pretty much all i can think of right of top of my head.

First things first. I should be working on my site but its being a ass ATM so lets see waht I can find on your site. you need a new favicon xD :)

Ok really though... I will be nice but real as possible -- First on your title you should take out "powered by vbulletin" in your title, as per vB rules you are allowed to take that off.

When I first look at your site (the first 400 Pxs of it) it looks really blan, not really because your logo is crappy (I think its really cool) but there is nothing up there.. if you ain't going to use the space than at least put a advert spot up there or if you ain't doing adverts than put a nice looking banner on there that goes back to your homepage, or what ever it may be, there just needs to be something else up there.

Another thing I see that should be changed (IMHO) is the "Welcome to the CellPhoneForum.biz" its the standard vB message, if you can't write good short articles and what not, pay someone to do it for you, it might be well worth it. try to say whats going on in your site.. what does your site have that others don't.

Going down a bit more I can see the collapse cat button (on the far right hand side of your screen, http://www.cellphoneforum.biz/images/buttons/collapse_tcat.gif) is really not matching the rest of your site, you might want to have someone make it with a transparent background so it will fit in with your site more.

Down at the bottom I am seeing "Top 5 Stats" I think, you should take that off till your site got bigger, right now you only got 4 active members and even less active topic starts.. so I would take that off till your site got bigger.

Now with your forums I think that 1, you have to many forums.. its a new forums you don't need a LOT of forums on there.. when it gets bigger expands but till than stay with a small amount of forums. and the last problem I see is the forum with News and other stuff like that.. one don't have a real forum name.. "CellPhoneForum.biz" don't really count. and 2 I think it should be at the bottom of your forums.. when a guest comes to your site.. do you think they are going to want to look at all the news, new member intros and other stuff thats boring... Orrrrrrrrrrrrrrr read things about...well Cell phones? the news and stuff is not that important that it needs to go on top. if people are curious they can find them in a flash.

But not that I pointed out what I think is wrong, I guess I should point out what I like... I gotta say I really like your new/old forum post images, I think they are really cool (although at the bottom I might put a legend for those so people know what they are). I also really like the RSS, I think that is a cool thing to have. I also really like the company logos, not sure why but I just like them :)

sorry t talk so much, I hope it helped a little bit though.

Wow thanks a lot angisson for the long and helpful review .

1. The favicon is on the way, i didn`t had time to take care of it.

2. How do i remove the powered by Vbulletin in the title ?

3. In the right of the logo i am thinking on putting an tabbed menu and above an advertising space , but i don`t want advertising now , maybe when this community will grow.

4. About the welcome message, i have search for some mods to change it and make it more personal , i will change it for sure .

5. The collapse icons ... i didn`t had time for that lol i forgot about them , well let`s say the skin isn`t that finished :)

Again thanks alot for the positive and usefull review , and thanks IB too for your review, you really helped me guys .

Thanks,
Iulian
