Any tips on how to promote a online poker forum would be greatly appreciated. This is my first time creating a forum and I really hope it turns out well.

It looks really good. I like the simplicity. I agree with the above posts that you should make it have a little more poker style.

imho, get a sweeeet logo, for example rocket /aces/ shooting out of pockets (playing off the typo and adding some nitro to pocket aces)... the club and diamond images are an improvement though....

IMO apart from the aces/clubs/spades/hearts and the 'banner/logo' it just looks like a bog-standard forum to me :-S
