I'm looking to get a site made that is similar to youtube.com, photobucket.com and flickr.com all wrapped up in one. Basically, a storage center where end users create a user name and password, then are able to upload their movies or videos free of charge. The registration & login needs to have a visual verification. Admin needs to have the ability to customize accounts and modify, delete, ban, etc. The site also needs to have an upgradable feature where end users can purchase "extras" if they need or want to.
I'll need all artwork done, all coding, and ftp of the final content to my server done. Unless it's terribly pricey, I wouldn't mind some flash to be included on the pages. I'll be using this as an advertising outlet mainly, so I'll need space to put google ads and affiliate ads on every page. (Easily integrated)

I will need the design of an entirely new Web site. I need it to be a clean design with a light background. I want it to be fresh and original.
I will provide the actual text of each page. What I’m needing designed is the following:
Secure registration and login.
The home page should have tabs that have subcategories.
Once a template design is agreed upon, I’ll need the tabs to have Home, Vidz, Shotz, Forums, Categories, Links, & Upload Center. (With the ability to add more if needed or modify those that are there) Those will be the main names on the tabs. Each tab needs to have a sub tab or drop down menu that will take people to different areas from the main tab. For example, the Home tab should have subtabs of Your Account, Your Videos, Your Favorites, Your Forum, Your Friends. I might add more once we start hashing out details, but this is all I have at the moment.
We will, at the end, want a sitemap for the website too. (The sitemap should be able to be easily updated) We also want to be able to update the Meta info on each of the pages so we can do some SEO work. It would be preferable, if we didn’t have to insert our ads on each new page created. We want it to be able to appear at a predetermined spot on each new page created.
Like I said, I’ll provide all of the text, I just need the template designed with all of the above inserted already. This is a new venture for myself and my husband that we hope to expand into the future.

Our budget for this is less than $1,000 at this time. We may be willing to go higher, if justified, but we would have to push our final pay date to later in the month of September. If the prospective designer can show us past work, and/or possible designs for our current project, we will put up 50% of the agreed upon price at the start of the project, and pay the balance once the site is 100% complete. Here’s what we want our end users to be able to do:
Guests should be able to view videos and pics without having to log in. They should also be able to view the public forums, but not post.
End users should be able to log in and register, using a valid email that gets verified through email.
They should also have the ability to browse and access the entire user part of the site using one username/password. E.g. Upload area, view area and forums.
Unless you haven’t guessed, we’ll need a forum area for end users.
They should also be able to vote and comment on videos or pics.
They should be able to add other users to their friends or watch list for forums and pics and vids. A user group would probably come in handy, where the end user is able to create a group and invite other members to join their group and visa versa. They should be able to have their own area, where they can invite their friends to, so they can view just their videos and pics.
They should be able to identify their group using a specific category that will be predetermined from a list. And modify the area to suit their needs. I won’t be so bold as to say it should be like MySpace.com in that fashion, but something similar so they can modify the page.
Here’s what I want the Admin to be able to do:
Ban IP addresses.
Delete any content on the entire site easily, without having to dig for it.
Be able to set a bandwidth and MB maximum for each user.
All users should start out as regular members, however, I want the ability to be able to upgrade individual accounts to allow for more space and more bandwidth if needed. I also want to be able to upgrade accounts to different levels: User - Premium Member - Moderator - Admin - Site Admin
I want the ability to be able to enable or disable certain things that will, at first, be free. For example, everything will be free until the member base and visitors reach XXXXX amount. (Or may be free forever, not sure at this point) I want to be able to allow current users to be able to keep their settings, but make new users have to upgrade, for a small fee, for the features. Features like bandwidth, MB used, more space for sigs in the forums, bigger avatars in the forums, more private messages sent and received, etc. These are all I can think of at the moment. Basically, anything beyond the basic interface should be upgradeable.
I already have a host and domain. I’ll need the website designer to upload the information to the designated domain when it’s complete. I have some knowledge of html and php. So I want to be able to go in and place my text and ads without having to purchase some program.
I will accept any format that allows me to easily modify the site. Whether it be php or html or whatever. I will add the initial text, I will add the initial information on each of the pages. But, I want to be able to upgrade the information on any given area through an interface without altering the format. Basically a posting format, when I need it.
I’ll need the home page, some of the category pages and the video or picture pages to have a random image from uploaded files. I would also like a featured area, where featured videos or pictures can be selected.
Any uploaded video (or picture) should have an automatic thumbnail produced. The thumb should come from somewhere in the middle of the video. When the user uploads it, they should also be able to describe the video or picture.
I think it goes without saying, at this point, but I want the users to be able to stream the videos, on the site, as well as download them if they wish. Guests shouldn’t be able to download, but should be able to view.

I live in the USA. I will be paying in USD and will only accept designers from the USA. I will expect to be contacted through the PM system, on these boards, first with a quote. If I accept you as the developer, I will expect full contact information to be provided. Name, Address, Telephone #. I will provide the same information and will ultimately contact you so we can walk through details. I would like this project to be 100% complete by the end of September, 2006.
As I stated earlier, I will pay 50% of the agreed upon price at the start of the project, and the rest of it will be paid once the project is complete. If the amount of the project goes over $500.00 I will pay my initial 50% only when I see that work has begun on the project. I will expect to see something in the form of a template, artwork and effort (all three) on the designers part before I pay anything. Security is a two way street, and I won’t pay unless I’m certain that the work will be completed to my satisfaction in the end.
Before anyone submits a bid, I want the following to be noted. Most likely, I won’t be working with individuals. This is going to be a lot of work for one person, so I will probably only accept teams that work together on projects. My only exception will be if that individual shows extreme competence in the previous work they’ve done.
