Hello,

In efforts to bring an end to the relentless criticism of DomainTops, I've decided to open its development to a team of selected individuals/volunteers to collaboratively work on the project, so un-originally named the "DomainTops Algorithm Project."

I need anywhere from 4 to 10 volunteers that are fluent in PHP and have an education through advanced algebra (Algebra II) and preferably statistics or calculus.

Upon signing up, I'll send you a copy of the current algorithm's test environment plus some things that need to be improved, and you can take your pick. (First come first serve! You won't get to change that option very easily!)

Before being accepted, you'll have to have a good standing with me as a fellow NamePros member and I'll have to have respect for you as well. The reason? Well, besides wanting to get along, I can only choose honorable members to share the copyrighted and confidential algorithm with to help develop it. You'll sign a digital contract that tells ME you won't take advantage of all the hard work I've done so far by exploiting the script.

To sign up, just reply here or PM me telling me you're interested and your technical background and education (just a paragraph or less should do fine, nothing formal).

Accepted Volunteer Count: 2 / 10

Thanks

I don't see how it could be critisized. It seems to be great for what is does. It is accurate for an automated system IMO.

I appreciate the rare positive response weallscream (rep +), but even so I must reiterate that this thread is for the DomainTops Algorithm Project posts only... thanks ;) I just don't want it to get off-topic.

I'd be interested, not sure if I qualify:

pros
education: computer science degree
experience: 8 long hours spent programming bespoke commercial web applications every long working day for the past five long years
honorable: i like to think so, yes

cons
good standing: I'm probably too new
php: familiar, not fluent

You're in (partly because of your avatar :)). Still looking for more applicants!

It's funner than you think... (sorry for bumping, but I really do need volunteers badly.)
