Need information on Tasting

Hi,

I would like to understand tasting a little better.

Is it anyone who can register a name for 5 days and get a refund?

Any indepth explanation on how it works and how can do it is apprecaited.

OK, here is how it works at Moniker

You register a name, it doesn't perform / you typo'd, whatever. You want to return it. You go to My Account, click "delete domains less than 4 days old," then you proceed to delete it. Moniker contacts the central registry and they get their money back. You will then be refunded the cost of the name minus 25cents, which is a "restocking fee." The best registrar for tasting is Moniker, and with special Namepros pricing it is also one of the cheapest.

Remember, you can only do this with gTlds (com/net/org/info/mobi/biz)

Dynadot gives you 120 hours to "taste" the domain and credits your account with the full cost of the domain and with no "restocking fee" or similar. Its also only $7.99 to reg aswell. All in all, Dynadot is good for tasting domains, imo.
