Need info about local server

hi

i have done all settings now i need info.. where can i get a server [local server] with ftp and php support

i know sambar. savant they are easy softwares but dont have ftp and php support.. i have tried a great so far is xitami.. but it has not php support

can u tell me where can i found such a good software with php and ftp facilities

Why don't you try good ol' apache? It's the most wide-spread server out there. And installing on linux is quite easy

First off are you on Windows or Linux? Like matrics said Apache is your best bet although you will need to find an ftp server. Most ftp servers for Windows I have found not to be free.
