Need Idea Quickly- PLEASE Read!

This is fairly ambitious, but I need to raise $2016.00 in two to three weeks, and a domain name seemed to me to be the best way to go. I am looking into making a website that provides a service such as web hosting, (of course the idea must be more original than that). I currently own Zonoid.com, SegwayHT.net, Conor.name, and the IDN character, "White Bullet".com, though depending on the idea, I would be willing to register a new domain name.

Before I go into more detail, I should tell you that if I use your idea, and it successfully brings me to my goal of $2016.00 in two to three weeks, I will register a domain name of your choice for free through GoDaddy.com, DomainSite.com, or 1&1.com. I will also give you 90 NP.

I am looking for a service, (web hosting, template seller, etc...) idea that has not been heard of before, (unless another idea could make $2016.00 in two to three weeks). The service must be self automated. By that I mean payment would be made to me via PayPal, and I would not have to ship anything to anyone at any time.

Calculating in advanced, I have concluded that on average, I would need to make $96.00 a day to reach this goal, which would be $4.00 an hour, assuming I spent three weeks in my fundraising attempt. Again, you don't have to use these figures, I am just giving ideas.

It is very important that I raise this amount of money, and I can't think of any other way to do it. I know from previous experience that NamePros members know what works and what doesn't, so I figured I would turn to you.

Making over 2,000 dollars in 3 weeks would be very hard selling templates and doing web hosting.

A lot of people only pay $60 a year on hosting. So you would need roughly around 34 people in 3 weeks to meet that goal... they would also have to pay yearly, not monthly.

Getting that many customers is hard for some hosting companies to get in a year.

That cost is also not fees you have to pay, domain name, Advertising, Server fees, ect.


Try doing something you are know a lot about, know a lot about cars? Make a car website... ect.

If you are good at graphics, make banners for $5 (Sell pretty fast at that price if you have a portfolio), and make custom templates for people.

If you know coding, that could be the best way to earn money. Some people are willing to pay $750 per code if it is a pretty big one and it works like it should. I've seen people make over that in 1 weeks time, on 1 job. That would be the way to go if you know how to code.

I don't expect you'll get much response from your call for an unheard of idea that's self-automated and will earn $2000 in a months time. I figure most people with those ideas would be putting them to work for themselves.

If you have decent website development skills, contact local businesses that you think could benefit from having a website, or their current website redesigned. You'll find that in a local market, most businesses do not expect dirt cheap hosting and design services and are willing to pay fair amounts to have a local web developer available to them.

You could do websites for $500/ea and add-on hosting at $15/mo by providing excellent service to your clients and have the money you need.

lol, okay seriously . I'd say look around on freelance sites, get several projects down and work on them, or maybe enter a few contests for website designs. Depending on your skill level its very possible to get that much in a month. I mean its not unheard of for contest organizers/clients to offer $1,000+ to the winner or designer.

So, if I give you an idea that makes you $2,000 in 3 weeks, I get a free domain? This is extremely unfair to the person giving you the idea. As far as $2,000 in 3 weeks, chances are that it will not happen. I suggest you work really hard at a job, and if you already have one, get a second one. Atleast that way you will have something to show at the end of 3 weeks.
