Need help with site for Small Business (Check out pages, database)

Hello, i need some help on how to set up a small business on the internet.

im opening up a clothing store and would like also sell online, i have some web design experience (html).

im having trouble thinking of how to set up like the check out page and how to get user information (sizes and quantity) and "existing members" stuff (all database related i think)

If you get some good webhosting, they will offer a lot of the tools that you will need. I use DreamHost. Others use HostGator and HostMonster. They're all pretty equal in my book. But I am sure I just pissed somebody off. lol Good luck

Mind that dreamhost incredibly oversells, hostmonster and hostgator do as well. If you want better service I suggest downtownhost.
Any host that offers Fantastico will help you. Fantastico is an automatic script installer (through a control panel that you are given). Some e-commerce softwares include oscommerce and zencart

I am hosted on Hostgator and they are very good both in the price for the package and in their email support.

almost all of shopping carts applications can integrate with paypal.
so paypal is a good option for checkout system when you own ecommerce site.

Anyways dreamhost, over crammed, GatorHost is way over priced (but great support), Hostmonster idk never used haha.

Anyways i recommend using a shoping cart system like oscommerce ect and hiring or coding a custom designer, well run you likely $100 - $350, shop around. Well let your buyers buy directly from your site and make it all easier and less hasles.

I think you need a shopping cart script for your site. If you have cPanel provided with your hosting, have a look on Agora Shopping Cart.

Remember thats not required. I can honestly say i cant code a whole script in php so i don't know php, i just understand how 2 mod and edite things.

Than again i am just picking up as i go haha i am only 14 no rush 2 learn it all.
