NEED HELP!!! Snapnames domain dropping?

I've been following a domain that was pending hold delete. It was almost through with the process when all of a sudden I saw that snapnames had it for auction.

That status isn't backorder, but available soon. The bidders is 0. It says order by: today.

Does that mean someone has backordered the domain? Or will it delete today? Then I can register it through any registrar?

I have a hard time scooping it for 59. Because I don't really know if it is worth that? I do know that at a normal registrar it would be worth the gamble.

THANK YOU!

Probably the name is going to drop today, therefore the deadline to backorder is today. Bidders: 0 means nobody placed a backorder with Snap. It could have been backordered somewhere else. You can wait for the domain to drop and register it with a registrar at a cheaper price. Of course you're taking a chance.
If you don't anticipate a lot of interest in the name consider purchasing a godaddy backorder at $18.99

gloken23- of course there are problems now and then, but generally both of those companies are trustable. if there would be voting Snapnames would win because it belongs to the same group as one of the most recognized registrars- Moniker. If you're looking for dropping names I recommend Snapnames

You probably donโ€™t need a survey to tell you which expired domain service is most popular. Just look at the 100 biggest domain sales of 2006: 15 of them are from SnapNames, including Jasmin.com at $310,250. Competitor Poolโ€™s highest sale was $19,500.

SnapNames has cornered the market on expired domain names by striking exclusive agreements with registrars such as Network Solutions and Register.com. In fact, late last year Dotsterโ€™s NameWinner tossed in the towel and started sending its expired domain business to SnapNames. NameWinner was a pioneer in the domain name dropping business. Perhaps Dotster figured out it could earn more with SnapNamesโ€™ large contingent of buyers.
