Need Help How to Sell Ad Space Direct

I want to solicit some major companies that are in my niche to sell them ad space on my blog.

Any ideas on what to charge them? I am trying to find sites that offer info on this subject but no luck so far.

one way that works is to go through an ad aggregator (ex adtoll).
Once you have a couple advertisers, you can try and contact them directly to cut out the middle man.
