Need domain help

Hi can anyone help me, does this whois info mean the domain was regged through registerfly?

The domain registered as part of my hosting plan and I dont know how to get DNS control of it.

Im looking to switch hosts because of continous downtime and a distinct lack of support but how can I get control of my name so I can point it to a new host?

Ive emailed the host about it but havnt gotten any response

Its registered under my name and everything.

If I find out which site its regged through will I be able to email them and get DNS access?

Yes, you will see the same thing with other registrars as well. You should be able to go to registerfly.com and either login or setup a new account and put that domain in your accout and administer DNS.

wow, wonder if some **** at hostdeal read this?? 10 minutes after posting my site cant be accessed and my my email program is telling me the "account suspended "???

I have an account at registerfly but I cant see anyway I can try and add the domain ?

Haha im trying to, which Is why I need the DNS control for my domain!!! but the host wont respond with the info I need.

since I got the domain as a package when I got my hosting ive never had to worry bout nameservers etc

I am sorry I misread your initial post. If you are getting that at whois.registerfly.com then it looks like its registered with Hostdeal.com rather than registerfly.com

Your name servers are pointed to ns1.hostdeal.com and ns2.hostdeal.com. Where did you get your hosting package from?

but theres no way to change my dns through cpanel or anything

Check this out:

Q: "How can I change my domain contact information?"
A: "We will provide you with an interface to manage your domain. For more information regarding the URL, please consult your welcome message"

So they are saying that you should have received a welcome email when you signed up for hosting that should point you where you need to go to make that change. Normally the contact info and DNS info are together.

well I just did a transfer through registerfly so hopefully that should do the trick?

Hmmm, dont remember any info in the welcome email , that was 8 months ago though.

These guys are a joke, dont respond to emails , my and others sites have been screwed for the past week and now they just seem to have locked me out of my account , cant even access cpanel. The timing of that is just really peculiar , I posted this thread and then bang account suspended ??.

Depends...I have had them take a few minutes to a few hours.

You can change your contact info of your domain through your registrar only and even the nameserver. You can't change your dns in cpanel..so you should know your login details of your registrar in order to administer your domain
