My client has two trademarks for one niche industry.
1st is a one word tm - his last name in association with that industry
2nd is his lastname + (let say as just an example) leather +shoe+ maker

His official website is lastname+shoe+maker.com (skipped "leather") (this website name is on every products he sells)

Now. someone registered this exact thing with same lastname+shoe+maker.net, wrote a nice article about my client's products and sending visitors to my client's site. Of course, that website looks really newbie made, with bunch of google ads on it, which is despite all the nice words he had put on it, damages my client's brand name.
The question:
Do we have a case here?

Thanks.

Just based on what you said, but possibly. Still, a lawyer versed in these things is the best to answer your question.

I'd assume yes because he's profiting from your client's name.

However, several people have domains like

AppleTablet
ApplePhones
AppleComputers

And they're forwarding to affiliate sites.

Like @Dave_Z said, an IP lawyer is who you need an answer from.
