Need a FREE telnet client/code [Visual Basic or C-Sharp]

Hey everyone..I hope someone can help me here as I have been searching for a while now without much luck.

I'm looking for some telnet code that would allow me to telnet from VB or C-Sharp. After some searching I did find a telnet assembly kit that was available for visual studio, but the company wanted $299 for it which is a little out of my price range.

If anyone knows where I could find a free telnet assembly online for VB or C-Sharp I would really appreciate a link.

I looks like this is the right thing, but it is coding for C in a Linux environment. I'm trying to find one that will run in a Windows environment. Thanks again!

well, the putty client is opensource, and has a windows client, but once again it's written in C and not VB or C Sharp. I deal with unix and not windows so I'm not familiar with any VB or C Sharp specific examples. Hopefully this will still help you out or get you going in the right direction at least
