Need a banner and a new header for music site

I need the header for http://lyricslist.com redone, and a banner for the same site. I don't have much to spend on this, as the site is not making any money right now. I can paypal someone $10 for this. It shouldn't be more than an hours' work, so I think that this is fair. PM me or reply here. 1) The header must be 75-100 pixels tall and 700-750 pixels wide, with a place that can repeat for wider screens. I'll worry about cutting up the image and making it repeat myself.
2) The place for the banner must allow for a slight oversizing of the banner, as the banner providers add their own logo below the banner. This size is not constant, as I sometimes switch providers.

I have about 30 sites that need similar treatment (header and banner), so I'd like to create a long-term relationship with the designer. If you want to get started on another one of them, you can see http://technology-sleuth.com

I'd love to try, but I'm still a bit confused as to what you're on about. Is the header you're refering to the image with the "Lyricslist.com" text? If so what do you need the banner for?

The banner is so that I can advertise on other sites. It will not be shown on my own site. I had thought that that is standard practice with banners.

By header I mean the uppermost part of the site design. I thought that looking at http://lyricslist.com it was obvious what would be the 'header' in that particular design.

I have someone working with me in PM on this, but if somebody submits to me another design that I like, then I will be willing to buy that as well. I have lots of music sites that could use an overhaul. C'mon, lets see some ideas!

Hi,

Don't you think it's best (for, for us) to hold a contest in public? Why are you working with someone in private? Why am I bother to post an entry here if someone's can do this work for less, or for fun, or for making portfolio, etc - I can think this way because things are doing privately...
You should encourage people to post they work in public because you can get an healthy competition, and you should also raise the prize money,and by so the chances of getting more designers and designs in much more higher.
If you have more sites and logos to be made, good... try us on one or two contests, and then pick one or two to work with you, if you think they are good.
All this was just a thought.

#2 - I tend to agree with guetizo ..... If you are already working with someone , This isn't a Contest and shouldn't be in this section.
Perhaps you should have just requested portfolios (Not an actual new header) and chose someone to work with.

I have quite a few sites that need work. I am acually working with two designers in PM, and I am willing to work with more.

Unfortunate for me, I have less imagination than websites. So I am interested in forming a long term relationship with one (or maximm two) designer/s. If anybody else wants to work on the header for a website and a banner for the same site, them feel free to PM me and I'll give you an address of a site that needs work.
