Hi,

Basically I have the domain national-poker.com and .co.uk and decided to take a wild stab in the dark and contact a company I found on google who fitted in with the domain who already run a sucessful website.

That was about 3 hours ago and I now have a reply asking how much I want for it. This indicates to me that they could be interested because surely they would say straight up if they weren't.

Basically what price should I ask for. I personaly think it has big potential for the right person or company especially because the company I contacted seen to be a fairly large gambling site in Australia.

Should I aim high like £x,xxx or £xx,xxx or is that totally unrealistic. Bearing in mind I do not want to ask for say £800 when they could potentially want to spend £8000 on it.

Hope someone can help me

Thanks for reading.

Nick

The domain looks to be only a week old. I don't see a lot of value since this isn't an exact keyword match and there doesn't appear to be a huge demand for the term. I suggest if you want to close a sale you ask for a realistic price. Asking for High $X,XXX or low $XX,XXX will never happen for a domain like this.

- Results 1 - 10 of about 49,600 for "national poker".
- Taken in .COM only

I think anything higher than mid $XXX is a pie in the sky dream. However I could be wrong since I am not a real expert in gambling domains.

National-Poker.com

Not exactly a common poker term, however, if the interest's coming from a huge company. Low $XXXX is still very possible.

...but that's just me.

selling it to national poker league? lol

alot of people will ask you what you want for it because its like getting a free aprassial for there similar name

i feel £800 is twice what you can sell it for

any traffic on this, sounds like its the only reason this person might want it, good luck
