An Edinburgh couple have lost a battle with the estate of Chronicles of Narnia author CS Lewis over a web domain name. Richard Saville-Smith paid £70 for the name www.narnia.mobi so his son Comrie, 11, who is a CS Lewis fan, could use it for his e-mail address.

i remember someone posted this before, they were fighting it, lets be honest, your quote says it all.

there's more to the story as i recall, they had the page parked with ads or something...cant remember it all but it did sound a bit flakey.

It is sad that they lost the WIPO and still don't get it.

seriously, what an idiot... you dont have to be making money on a TM for it to not be rightfully theirs.... seems they live in lala land tho.

no doubt they got some bad advice too from 'legal experts', as usual always the winners in these things
