I bought a name today dncj.com got it transfered to goodaddy all cool
change the nameservers to whypark correctly, double checked 10 times
so now when you type in DNCJ.com you go to my whypark page..
then if you type in www.DNCJ.com you go to the old parked page of the previous owner where it was most recently parked.
Why is this happening and is there a organic remedy to rectify the problem,as this is becoming a pain in the :rolleyes:

Yes, same here. it should take some time to propagate. Usually not more than 24 hours.

Sometimes the issue is not on the web, but rather our own window to the web. If your pc's DNS cache still has the old IP, then even if it has propagated you will still see the old one.

I often use the following to flush my dns cache and force new dns resolution.

Start ---> Run ---->Type "cmd"

ipconfig /flushdns

Useful info!

You may also type this command directly in the Run window and click OK or create a batch file you can simply double-click to flush your dns cache.

To create a batch file, open a Notepad window and type:

ipconfig /flushdns

Save this file with a .bat extension (ex. flushdns.bat). Next time you need to flush the dns cache, just double click this file.

Wait for some time. It might take some time before the details gets propagated. you can also create cname record to point to the name.

It normally takes 24-48 hours for the nameservers to propagate across the globe so wait and see after complete 48 hours. Also don forget to clear the cache and cookies of your web browser.

Usually less than 3 hrs:P

3 hours should be an exception case, it normally take 24-40 hours to propagate completely.

Normally the change in the nameservers will need about 24-48 hours to take effect. But as far as now both of your url are taking to a same page so this is solved i guess.
