NamePros newbie questions

I'm new here, I have three questions.

1) When I give people NP$, do they know it came from me?

2) I can't seem to chat, Is that working?

3) I wanted to compliment the person who sold me NP$ for responding so quickly, but I forgot his nick. How do I look that up, and how do I compliment?

-No, it seems to be down right now (For me too, at least.)

- Upper left hand corner menu "NP$ Store", then "History" will show you. You compliment by either updating their "trader rating" (Right under their username on posts, appropriate in a buy/sell transaction) or by adding to their "reputation" (the scales at the bottom left hand corner of every post).

3) Go to your personal messages, find the person who donated to you.

1) Yes
2) Not sure...I would contact RJ, or another Admin
3) You could use the search feature of the forum to search for the thread, or you could look at http://www.namepros.com/memberlist.php About the compliment, you could add a postivite Trader Ranking, add to their reputation, or send them a PM

Ya, I posted my reply when there was no replies. Then I looked at the thread and I was post #4. Guess I was just too slow

I looked under NP$store/History
and there is no record of:
1)my purchase of 100 NP
2)8NP that was sent to me

Looks like the history might only be purchases... Check your PM box for a record of it (Unless you deleted the PM), because every NP transaction is accompanied by at least one PM. If you've deleted it, you might try the "private messages to staff" folder, they are most helpful.

Well, all your posts are listed at:

http://www.namepros.com/search.php?do=finduser&userid=15720 . Look through all your posts, and you can probably find out who donated you the NP $. Or, PM an Admin, and I am sure they could tell you.

To find out who sent you the 8NP$ you would have to look at your Private Messages and if you don't see any PM's entitled "You have received 8NP$ from someone" then you have probably deleted the message.

You can always try the "Private Messages to Staff" section if your really keen on finding out who sent you the NP$
