NamePros Reps...Little green squares...Question???

So,

This is a cool way to express our gratitude,
or compliment someone on a creative, helpful, post...
But, why are some worth more than others?

I had 2 people give me a rep, and my total was 26 points.
Just a few minutes ago, I had 1 person give me a rep,
and now I have 66 points total.
So 2 peoples reps to me were worth 26 total.
and 1 persons rep to me was worth 40...

What makes one persons rep points worth more than the others?

Also,
How many points does it take to get another green square?

I would like a couple more!

I am helpful, and creative,
and most of all,
They look cool under your UserName!

So, any help on the reps...
would be GREATLY appreciated!

If you get repped by reputable members, you get more points. If you get repped by less reputable members, you get less points.

Rep is earned when other members approve of your posts or actions and take the time to click the postbit.
Rep Power (the amount others receive when you rep them) increases with the more rep points you accumulate as well as some other factors.

Just because someone doesnt have lots of rep points doesnt mean they are not reputable, just like someone with many rep points doesnt mean they are more reputable.

Rep is more for fun than anything else, so dont make judgements based on someones rep.

A better indicator is Trader Rating (TR), but that isnt always reliable either.

I check post history to see what a member is all about. If you go back far enough, you will see patterns of behavior.

Another good indicator is how long they have been members, but not always.

Positive Trader rating also adds to your rep points. Each positive transaction equates to ten points. Do enough positive transactions here and that can help add to your little green bars rather quickly.

So if each transaction is worth 10 points?
Well, I already had 2 domain transactions,
that got me 2 i-traders.
So, that would total up to 20 points towards my reps.

So then I get 2 reps from NP members.
and my total becomes 26.

That would mean those 2 members reps to me
were worth a total of 6.
Hmmm, It seems like the domain sales/transactions
ARE worth alot!
