NamePros Fans - What Makes NamePros So Addicting

I am not sure if I am the only member who feels this way but I can't get away from this site....I dont know if its the 'homey' feeling the cool members the knowlage within the threads or what....

I was curious to know what about NamePros makes you feel at home?

I think it's the community. I love how everyone pulls together for charity auctions and the like. :tu:

Very knowledgeable members and top-notch Administrators, too.

From the short while i've been a member i have noticed a few things.

1.) Everyone here is very kind and professional and welcoming.
2.) Its such a well built site and so easy to navigate it just keeps you coming back
3.) The financial/investment aspect is always alluring
4.) The 'chase' or the 'hunt' for names or whatever you want to acquire is just so entertaining and easy to do here.
5.) Ideas are abundant here and people are always responsive.

It really reminds me of trading baseball cards as a kid. "OOOH, where'd you get that Nolan Ryan rookie card!? Nice work!"

The addiction is strong.

Ha yeah I'm not sure. It's just a very 'homey' atmosphere. I started the whole web design/programming on my own a few years ago actually long before even I found this site when I was about 11. I found this site when I was around 13 or so and haven't been able to leave. It's just somewhere that gives people interested in PC's from all skill levels newbies to experts alike somewhere to be. Sure you DigitalPoint or something could arguably similar but it's more harsh and more of a tight-knit community rather than the one here at Namepros.com! Everyone is welcome provided that you're not going to be a true you know what.

It's the staff and management team. The best on any large forum I've ever seen.

They are so kind... so intelligent... and so gentle. They truly care.

My life sucked until I came to Namepros. But they picked me up, and made me stronger. Being at Namepros makes me want to hold hands with strangers, connect on a deeper level... sing songs together and stuff. Can we do that, huh, huh, can we do that?

Domainers in general are intelligent and thoughtful people, and it is fun hearing their ideas about the industry and other random things. Most people that become domainers I think are already interested in language and the uses of words, as well as what is going on in the outside world, as those two qualities are important for success in this type of industry. So, basically, you get interesting people here and that makes it a fun place to hang out.
