Dear users, The namepros.com owners are using you to get at the good domains, and find out when and where they will be deleting, to buy them at cheap prices and to get ideas what to register and who needs what domains. There cookies are tracking every members moves and what sites they are visiting. I talked to one of these moderators (Apollo Agcaoilli) at a conference last year and he said his income went 3 folds after he started this forum. They read all your private messages and what you are offering, at what price and and to whom. These are lowlife scums that that try to make money from newbie domainers. Dont post here and waste your time. Remember anything you say here will be used to make money for these moderators and forum owners like Armstrong and Rj e.t.c..

I just wanted to add that I think its awesome that everyone on this board, our community if you will, showed respect to the people who run this board, and that they were able to see someone being childish. Its sad when someone trys to make themselves seem better, or get a head, by degrading something someone has spent time and money on to make a living, and to share with others. I think its great that everyone is showing there "loyalty" if you will. I love this place, and I like everyone here. Everyone I have had contact with through this board, has been nice, polite, and friendly. I plan on being a member for a long time. And I know a lot of you feel the same way. Its childish for someone to think that, just because they post something like that, we will all leave. Anyway, I'm done with my little rant.....

 everyone

Regards,
OulZac

P.S. and to the email thing posted, Don't stoop to his level by tring to contact him, its just a wast of your time, you have better things to do!

:)

OMG

German Guy: the government has satalites in space and they are watching you every second of everyday.

Your just probably someone from DNF trying to ruin Namepros reputation.

Namepros is the best Domain Discussion Forum out there and people like you are just trying to ruin it...

I suggest you go back to your DNF or wherever you came from or go and play with your barbie dolls.. your false accussations are not needed here.

I think we should keep up with our professionalism like Radistar stated earlier on and let's stop criticising another forum. We know ourselves which forum is better and we should keep it all in our hearts. I'm sure we won't like another forum criticising us as well. I personally feel that from this incident, we learn to work as a group to fight for what we deserve, and it is a good spirit! Keep it up, np'ers!

Cheers!
Flora. :tu:

An interesting thread!

I know what its like when somebody comes on your forum and tries to split the community - very frustrating.

I for one KNOW that RJ is not at all like this. Recently I had some dealings with him myself - sent him a name that I saw was dropping and believed was well worth the fee. He could have snapped and registered it himself - but no, he snapped it for me and handed it over - all for the cost of the snap fee from me!

I think that shows the guys here are decent - not criminals.

Keep up the great job. :)

Pretty funny stuff, mostly. Seriously, I barely have time to keep up on my own Private Messages. :)

I'll let most of this stuff roll of my back, but one thing I do take offense to: "These are lowlife scums that that try to make money from newbie domainers." That is total B.S. We've worked our tails off building up a place where those that are new to the industry can feel welcome and learn more about domains. I don't think you'll find any instance of myself or the other staff talking down to newbies or anyone with a sincere interst in learning more about our industry. This has been a goal from day one, and continues to be.

Badmouth me all you want, not that I feel its deserved, but I guess I can expect it as the forum owner from the scammers and spammers we've had to boot from NamePros. Jeff and Apollo are good men and I stand behind them 110%. Everything they do here has been on a volunteer basis.. and if Apollo is making 3 times what he did before, I'm glad. I guarantee its not due to any unfair advantages though.

Peace,

RJ

How much more sincere can you get. I'd just like to add, I have gained quite a few domains just from being on namepros. I've learn lots of info and met great people. Any member is open to earning twice, three and four times profit just from being here and getting into the game.

My Cool Input

Yep, if ever there was a domain forum to not trust, DNF would be the one.

Over there, the inmates run the asylum.

Please none of this. Don't bad talk other forums. As I said it would be spoiling the great community we have here at Namepros.

Sensitive CoolGuy sssssssssss.

Yeah, I'm with CoolGuy and Flora on that, let's not badmouth other forums. If you don't like or trust another place, avoid it.

The original poster in this thread has been identified. You might remember him from the "Stolen domain: vy.com" thread as the domain thief desperately trying to cover his tracks. Well, he returned here under yet another username using an "anonymous" proxy server. I guess he's still upset about the vy.com thread.

Thanks for the love and support everyone.

Peace,

RJ

Unfortunately guys, he is right.. read below for PROOF.

I just talked with a user here about registering a name, and bang, it was taken less than 24 hours later by none other than ARMSTRONG...

The Domain name was Germanguyisreallya.troll (that is the newest TLD)..
well i try to get it, and it has been taken... I do a whois on Troll.net, who is the primary registar for .troll addresses. and here is what I find.

germanguyisreallya.troll
Registrant:
Armstrong
Namepros.com
Suite H-144
Intercourse, PA 23231
US

Registrar: DOTSTER
Domain Name: GERMANGUYISREALLYA.TROLL
Created on: 10-JAN-05
Expires on: 29-NOV-25
Last Updated on: 10-NOV-04

So you see proof... The worst part is that I was not talking with the user online.. it was on the phone.. so Namepros must have all of our phones tapped and deep space survaliance on us just so they can find out our valuable domain names like what I just lost.. Ohhh woe is me....

Chromis

(for those (germanguy) that did not realize it, the above IS sarcasm.....

Well in my short time here at Namepros I've seen all sorts of things. From what I've seen of the staff here on the outside they all come off as great people - usually I'm a decent judge of character though not always so I have my disclaimer. I don't see Namepros using this place in a manner that the banned user described and frankly, who cares if they do?

Granted, it's not the most noble idea I've heard, but what's any more different than a domain registration company selling a list of their expired names or us registering names that people have kindly posted in the expired names forum? If they pick up a name here and there, so be it - if not, that's even better.

The same with DNF. A lot of people take potshots and I'm sure some of those are deserved but many are not - just like with NP. You cannot make everyone happy. However, I've been satisfied with both places though I do find NP radiates more of a community feel in the end.

To come here and make claims that are not substantiated - not even poorly substantiated for that matter does nothing but make you look like the bad one in the end. I mean, at the very least if your accusations are indeed true, you could provide a name - I wouldn't take that for 100% proof by far but it'd be a start.

Anyways, enough of my ramblings, but I'd be happy to defend the Namepros name anyday.

Lol

Iam thinking that maybe he had the brow bottle to close to the computer and didnt stop, these are lunatic accusations, if probably meant his income went up 3 folds becasue he had income from this board to fuel other projects, isnt this the idea of business? :$:

Obviously via IP address and those type of stuff. Though it could be hard if he has a dynamic IP address.

There are more reliable ways of identifying who's using the same computer than looking at IP addresses.

Hey everyone, it was fun, but this thread to going to bed now... night night.
