Hello

Does anyone knows what happens to these namejet prerelease domains if noone bids on them ? Does it drop or it goes to Enom ??

Also if you buy it for the minimum bid of $69 , Are you supposed to pay $69 every year ???

Thanks

If no bids were placed, normally the domain would follow the normal drop process.

If you win a domain name for $69, that is a one time fee and you would just pay a renewal fee the registrar charges per year after that. Any domain name won will have about 1 year before expiration.

Thanks a ton Yofie.

The reason i asked was i noticed a couple of pre release domains not being bidded. But when i checked the whois it shows the owner as ENOM with an expiry date in may 2009
The domain expired in April 2008

Be Advised. People do snipe these backorders. They wait till the last second to place the backorder, thus making it seem like no one wants the domain names. If you want a domain name that is at NameJet pre-release, the best way to insure you get it is by paying the BO at the last minute.
