  1. You win a public pre-release auction.
  2. You pay for the domain.
  3. Weeks go by and nothing....
  4. Namejet tell you they're speaking with the seller - "We have verified that they are working on completing this as quickly as possible"

Ahhh... its not a thing to just "cancel" after you sell the domain and take payment !!!

Why do you blame Namejet? You should blame the seller. As I understand, Namejet was only the marketplace here, they didn't own the domain. The seller must deliver it.
There are a lot of unreliable sellers who will list random domains on random places, and then they don't deliver the domain. These sellers should be banned from these platforms.
