Hey guys,

One thing just happened to me at NJ. There was a pre-realized name 3 days ago. I placed an order and someone else placed an order too (so we have 2 orders). In 24 hrs the domain was still in "Pending auction" status and yesterday that second order disappeared... and domain was ordered by me (automatically - as now it was the only one person who placed the order).
I'm OK with it cause wanted this name, but is it possible to remove your order after during the "Pending auction" status?

I just hope your proxy bid wasn't too high; if so, that disappearing bid may have been a shill, especially if the owner of the domain was the seller.

NameJet does not differentiate between expiring pre-release domains and ones sold by private owners, which is why I'm very careful to bid only on truly expiring domains, which can be easily checked on Whois.

For your sake, I hope this isn't the case.

Sometimes people change their mind and withdraw their bids. Especially when there are no other bids yet, you don't want to draw attention to the name early. What was the name ? It could have been me :lol:

Well, my bid was a minimal one - $69 so everything is okay.

to sdsinc: can't tell the name for now, cause it's at Enom I want to be totally sure that it would be mine (so need to wait for 45 days)
