Namedrive PPC question?

Hey guys i have a question. Ive got several names in my portfolio that get excellent traffic as well as clicks. However some of the names get 12 clisks for like $3 but another gets 37 clicks for like 10 cents?? Now will this number skyrocket after the 48 hour waiting period or is it time to find a new place to park?

Only experience I've had with Adjustments at ND is that they go LOWER, which is very annoying. These low paying clicks with ND is what got me to pour some of my domains into Sedo instead... they are doing much better there instead of ND! Experiment! I lost a lot of money keeping some domains at ND.

Wow. I never thought that getting 37 clicks coul be a bad thing. But thank you for the input.

Our pre-update values are chosen specifically to be lower than the average amount for that ad region. For example, the generic PPC for the US is 11 cents, whereas our real updated values for the US are normally well above this.
Our PPC values are exactly what Google pays us, so if they don't pay us very much for the traffic, then we cannot pass much onto the user. In your case, domainer50, the majority of your 37 clicks (28) come from Asia on a lesbian keyword. Lesbian and Asia is not a good combination for high PPC.
In addition to this, the traffic on all your domains has gone from 1 or 2 a day to several hundred. Please be aware that we ONLY allow natural traffic. If traffic is bought or driven (especially from Asia), then the PPC is not going to be impressive. Please make sure that the traffic on your domains is not bought or driven from other sources.

In my experience with namedrive the updated revenue & RPM has only gone up, never came down.

No the traffic is not bought or driven.

instead of aiming pre-update values less than the average for that ad region, why not just set them all as $0.01 until you get the true value from google?

I find namedrive okay, I parked a few domain there recently and am running at $30 for the last 13-14 days. The type of names drive low $ per click but some I know get high $ per click are getting just that.

Just have to be patient and test

I have had to move a few names around for similar reasons. As mentioned in this thread, asian names do not convert well. You will find that you can obtain asian names with thousands of links and the traffic can vary wildly. EVen when the traffic is good, they will just not pay out.

I am also an advertiser on Google, and I have had to remove all asian countries (out of frustration) because they continue to search for ways to scam the system.

As far as low pay per clicks in general, you will have to do the testing and keep looking at your keywords - but wait several weeks for a trend before adjusting them.

I have had good luck with several parking services. Sedo has been great overall, and Fabulous has been great for type-ins and Casino type domains. Parked has done well for me for certain names (Loans, Credit), and Active Audience has surprised me with some good performance on words that didn't do well elsewhere. I have just started a few names at namedrive to evaluate as well.

Eesh, I just signed up with Namedrive, but it sounds like there are better providers out there. Are there?

Namedrive is great, but in order to get max ppc you need to experiment around with different providers. In general, I ALWAYS park first at ND... refer people to ND... etc. But if some domains are getting traffic but low PPC, I move them around to Sedo, and see how they do there. It's all about testing... sometimes you need to spread the domains apart ;)

ND has IMO the best templates and domain management but the worst PPC according to my experience. I moved most of my domains from ND to other providers.

Exactly. Their service is great, but their PPC is starting to scare me. Some domains parked there for 3 months haven't made squat (as in PPC wise), but moved around and AT LEAST made their reg fee in 2 months!

I have to ... finally ... agree. I've gone through goldkey, sedo, and now namedrive. All of them started off great, then tanked. I only have Fab left. I will submit my ND names to Fab. Whatever ones they accept will go, all the others will be dumped. I will be done with the migration probably by Feb.

It seems as though development is the way to go in the future. For whatever reason, parking has just become a major hassle for very little rev. Maybe it was different before I arrived, but my experience is pretty sour.

I didn't get into this industry to make $0.11, period.

Thats possibly because repeat type-in visitors often don't click! May be try changing templates before moving to another provider.. something that works for me..
