Hello,

Want to stop and thank all persons contributed to developing NameBio.com the searchable domain sales database.

In earlier versions I've always wondered If search function could become more advanced to provide me with very specific search on past domain sales, these features I've been waiting for are:

-ability to set the keyword position
-ability to set cost range, not just above 1000 or less than 1000
-ability to set domain length in detail e.g. I want to search for past sales for keyword exactly 6 chars.
-and finally adding pattern search

Very thankful for the new features, as It made my appraisal research a lot easier. and I am always using NameBio.com as my comparable sales data source.

After thanks, I would like to put a side note that when I am doing search by "Source" I only see fewer options than before in v2. I do not know if this is right in place, or you are still working on it.

But good job guys, and you Spade ..congratulations!
Your site is always in my favorites.

http://www.namebio.com This is a must for domain appraisers applying past sales comparison.

I searched for domain names and it showed loading then it shows the empty box. I tried it these 2 days and the same problem persists.

Why is that ?

Interesting... your the first to report this issue. What browser / version are you using?

Cool, namebio looks beautiful, but still there are some whitespace area which you got to fill will sth or make container width similar to godaddy page or other popular services, pages should look more content rich IMO ... Keep up the good work

Hi Justin, I`m just using the popular search tool for LLLL.com and it`s coming out 3 times in the first page a sale @ SEDO for $2 which obviously can`t be real:

eyap.com $2 2007-09-28 sedo.com

also, searching always LLLL.com sales if I put 100 result per page and order them from the most recent ones , after some time the date shows a huge gap of 5 months till April and it`s impossible that no LLLL.com have been sold in 5 months:

teri.com $28,000 2007-09-20 moniker.com
gbsc.com $555 2007-04-26 TDNAM

There was about 2 weeks of downtime for our grabbing software, so there are quite a few sales that are not reporting. The Sedo sales software just came back online yesterday, and you are correct, there appears to be an error there which has already been detected. Our developer is working to correct this issue.

Namebio is a great resource and have used it quite a bit, but recommneded it to a few people and they keep coming back and pointing out crazy sales on there, like sex.co.uk for $48 etc.
when it didnt even meet reserve at 150,000 GBP recently. Also someone says it shows same for dad.co.uk
Are these mistakes being corrected?
Thanks, only pointing out as it was a very reliable resource and recently sems to have got a lot of strange made up smalls sales on it???

Arnie,

Part of the problem is the source. When Sedo reports a sale like this, it gives my system a bit of grief. When Dad.co.uk was pointed out, we removed the sale immediately and I will do the same with sex.co.uk. I will also go through and make sure we are doing a solid job weeding it all out.

The system isnt perfect, but we are always fine tuning it!

Thanks,
Justin
