It seems that name branding is now more relevant than keywords used in a domain name. I guess that's why Goto.com became Overture.com so I believe that a keyword in the domain name is now irrelevant for SEO purposes.

Those who're are planning on going the route of branding are least concerned about the domain; they almost always get the domain they want not only in .com but also in anyother extension if they wish so...since they're primarily working with a unique non-dictionary name. On the other hand, if you're dealing with an extension like .info, its mostly about keywords...no made-up, unique, catchy stuff is going to work properly here. Vast majority of domainers, re-sellers, webmasters and small-medium sized businesses are much better off dealing with keyword domains; branding is for select few.
