.name ? Is it worth it

Hi there Guys,

I am looking to register a domain but the only ext thats available is .name

Is it worth it and can I use that extension for commercial purpose

I think the .name extension was mere ploy to drive up registrations in the past,As allan said,I think the extension went through fad period.I don't see much development in the extension and i believe it's future is bleek aswell.
