Name.com issue

I bought a domain and chose to enable the privacy protect thing,but when I did a whois my data came up.( "Private Whois for mydomain.tld is currently enabled.")

I am also unable to park the domain because cpanel doesn't see it having the correct ns,tho I've set them.

I contacted them by e-mail but after 1 day I still don't have an answer

I think this is probably a DNS cache issue, where your whois data for that domain has not yet propagated 100% over the internet yet. If you PM me with the domain name, I could check from another part of the world.

Thanks for the offer,but I've already asked a few people to whois it and they all had the same result.

The weirder thing is that the domain is : " Domain Status: inactive ",but almost 2 days passed since it was registered.

Name.com staff doesn't seem too keen in answering my e-mails

eh? OK. You didn't say you bought it at SnapNames. I'd assumed you'd regged it directly at Name.com. It is the weekend. So you might get some kinda response on Monday from either SnapNames or Name.

I used "snap" as a way of speech,like "oh snap" :P Well I hope that tomorrow I'll get an answer,if not,well stupid things happen...

It's possible that they choose to verify your credit card or paypal account information before they activate your domain.

Name.com has encountered many paypal fraud cases recently. I guess they are getting more cautious lately.

Try disabling Private WHOIS then enable it again? It might help.

I have registered dozens of domains with name.com. But all of a sudden, name.com refuse to register any more domains for me.

I tried to register a .biz domain earlier today. But the order coundn't be completed because name.com cancelled my paypal payment immediately after my payment.

I have a verified Paypal account and have been using it to purchase on name.com for a couple of weeks without any problem before this incident.

I guess I'm lucky in the sense that they didn't accept my payment, register the domain and then put it in "inactive" status as they treat milbertaed's domain.

Well over 2 days passed since I registered the domain and I guess it's status is still inactive.I did pay with my credit card,but the veryfing process to extend for such a long time?!
Sent them 3 mails and still no reply

Try disabling Private WHOIS then enable it again? It might help.

How do you enable it after registering the domain name ?

Click on domain, click on Privacy Whois, click on enable privacy, iirc.
