"Risky to invest .online" - I actually believe it is one of the stronger nGTLD's, purely because it makes sense and is generic enough to apply to multiple niches and industries. Looks good and sounds good when saying the URL out aloud. Many .coms/nets/org's already even have the word online as part of their URL... like for example gamesonline.com or carsonline.com or chatonline.com ...etc

Is it totally risk free? Off course not, no investment is risk free.....if you want a risk-free" investment then it's not called an investment, it's called a savings accounts

That's a matter of opinion mate. Unless you have a crystal ball that tells the future you are merely speculating. I believe they are a worthwhile investment - Off course you can not expect them to fetch the same prices as a .com but that does not make them worthless. I just grabbed 3 domains.... Hmmm I can't mention them just yet cos it's a little experiment I'm doing based on a bit of speculation and a bit of optimism but if I am right then it could open up some insane opportunities.
