MySQL host needed

Looking for a host that can handle ~1gb MySQL database with a dynamic PHP web site for 10k~20k daily visitors. Please reply with a link.

If you are happy to go on a shared server, Dreamhost or Hostgator will do fine, IMHO. Or won't it?

the other option is i have a dedicated server at a datacentre in texas that isn't getting much use, I could negotiate leasing part of it to you if you want to get a fast server and bang for your buck. PM me if interested to negotiate a monthly rate.

Doing a quick search today I found well over 50 VPS offers. Here's few that I bookmarked:

Personally, I would probably go with a high availability shared. Semi-dedicated can work out better. Also, the control panel is included and the package will be fully managed. Typically, VPS's charge extra for a control panel, and they are usually un managed.
